Mobile telephone has device for receiving and connecting at least two subscriber identity module (SIM) cards (2,3,4), at least two of which can be operated at the same time, without having to replace one with another. Internal control device (5) manages connected SIM cards and controls data communication via the at least two cards. Two, three or four connected SIM cards are used, which are associated with different network providers in different countries.
