The railway line (Bahnlinie) may cross a single- carriageway road approximately at right-angles. There is a St Andrew's cross sign (Andreas-kreutz) on the right-hand side of the road close to the railway line on either side. Each St Andrew's cross may be 2-6 m from the nearest rail of the railway line. There are two rows of projecting hard rubber studs in the right-hand side of the roadway, followed by two lines of hard rubber with reflector extending all the way across the road.
