The wrist watch has a strap of leather or plastics with an embedded metal core (9) to take up the pull of the strap on the watch, is fitted to it between the stubs (14) of the square watch body. Two pins (7) pass through the stubs, and the bent tubes (3) of the core, to fix it rigidly at the watch body. To lock the assembly, a ring buckle (4) swings on hinges (5), to lock against the base of the watch.
