The sun-shade has a set of parallel strips (3) pivoted around a horizontal axis by a rod that is driven by an electric motor. The strips are mounted on a frame (1) that moves vertically on slides. The rod, plate and a crank pin are housed in ribs of the frame, such that the rod, plate and the pin are not visible when the sun-shade is installed. Another motor is installed on the top of a window bay for driving the frame.
