Fuel injection nozzle for IC engines with direct injection for even fuel supply to swirl chamber via one outside and one inside channel in swirl element

The fuel injection nozzle has a valve needle with feed channels to feed fuel to a swirl element (13) with swirl channels (14). The fuel return flow from the swirl chamber feeds into a return channel. The fuel flow to the channels is via at least one feed channel (7,8) from an outside of the swirl element via a further feed channel (9), to a fuel supply inside the element. A distribution element (10) with supply system (17) is located on top of the swirl element, and the facing surfaces form a sealing face. The supply system opens into the fuel supply inside the element. The feed channel supplying the swirl channels inside the element is supplied permanently, while the other channels have flow control. During e.g. idling of the engine, the fuel supply to the outside channels is controlled so that fuel reaches the swirl channels via the other channel only.
