Technique for monitoring the condition of metal lines in microstructures

By fabricating fully embedded interconnect structural samples for cross-sectional analysis by electron microscopy and X-ray microscopy, power take-off mechanisms can be efficiently monitored. Further, presenting some of the measurement results as a moving representation enables the detection of subtle changes in properties of a connection structure in an extremely efficient manner.
