The cardan shaft (1) as a component part of a motor vehicle's drive train has a torsionally rigid bellows coupling (7) on at least one end (4,5,8) of a shaft section (2,3) for backlash-free transmission and for compensating for radial, axial and angular offset. The bellows is undetachably connected to one of the ends, and the individual bellows undulations are configured in Omega form. The bellows coupling may be constructed in one piece with a shaft section designed as a hollow shaft or may be welded to it.
