A car air conditioning (1) control unit has an internal temperature (2) sensor with threshold determination unit (3), a person detector (5) using the CO2 sensor (4) and decision unit (6) to activate the external optical and audible overheating alarm (7), and mobile emergency service call unit (8) followed after a time interval by a fresh air blower.
