A speech recognition circuit is activated to listen to a sentence spoken by a user. The sentence or spoken massage is analyzed to determine whether or not the user is familiar with the equipment. A non-familiar user is given a long explanatory statement while a user who displays knowledge of the equipment is given a short introduction. The long explanatory statement is given after a given time interval if the user remains silent after the short introduction has been given.
