The machine is mounted on a scooter-type frame with a front wheel (V) comprising two or more coaxial individual wheels and a steerable rear wheel (H) connected to the front wheel via a bar (F). A guide rod (FS) connected to the front wheel end of the bar has a spring-loaded lever (HE) connected to it. A motor (M) mounted on the lever is used to drive a miller or milling disc in between the individual wheels forming the front wheel. The miller is lowered and pressed into place by operating the lever whilst standing with one foot on the bar.
