The system for producing HMR (home meal replacement) products comprises: (A) a packing machine or a tray molding section (3); (B) a storage and filling station (4); (C) a foil seal application station (5); (D) a sealing station (6); and (E) a cutting unit (7) for separating the packages. The products are then packed in known HMR transport packages under aseptic conditions. An independent claim is included for a method for producing home meal replacement products using the system.
