The method involves measuring a level of a signal and in each case with a limit value compared. During excess of the limit value by the measuring level, the respective measuring frequency as radio interference level is marked. Each characterized radio interference level regarding its time performance is measured more precisely. For each characterized radio interference level the center frequency of the measuring frequency range of checking is repeated cyclically. An independent claim is included for a device for the measurement of radio interference levels.
