Side walls of slots (5) are insulated compared with conductors (4). The insulation (3) has a temperature resistance of about 700[deg] Celsius. It consists of ceramic material or insulating lacquer. Temperature requirements and process safety are met by the ceramic material and electric sheets. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing armature stampings for a squirrel cage armature.
