The mechanism has a cam (1) that swivels on an axle (4) of a cam-stroke-transferring lever of an intake/exhaust valve. A locking part (3) and a key set of the axle locks the cam and the axle. The key part provides a connection (6) between an oil circulation system (9) and two pressure chambers (7, 8). The locking part interrupts the connection such a pressure develops to form a hydraulic oil cushion between the locking part and axle.
