Verification method for a bit vector sent by a mobile telephone to a base station with two antennas uses weighting factors for amplitudes and/or phases for signals to be transmitted by the antennas
Verification method for a bit vector sent by a mobile telephone to a base station with two antennas uses weighting factors for amplitudes and/or phases for signals to be transmitted by the antennas
Dedicated and common pilot signals are fed to a rhythm-calculating unit (RCU) (1) that also receives a priori information (p(w1,w2)) along with status variables (s q, k-1) and their associated cumulative rhythms stored in a status memory unit (3). The RCU uses these variables to calculate new status variables in a step of time immediately following along with their associated accumulative rhythms. An independent claim is also included for a device for carrying out the method of the present invention.
