The displacement pump with a preloading device has a flow inlet (6) and a flow outlet (7) running into a displacement chamber in the pump housing (3,4). A displacement element (1) is accommodated in the displacement chamber, and a drive shaft (11) creates a rotational movement which effects feed movement of the displacement element. The preloading device is a flow pump with at least one feed wheel (21) rotationally driven by the drive shaft. The feed wheel of the flow pump is connected to the drive shaft and torsionally fixed in relation to it.
