The pendulum displacement machine has a machine housing (1) enclosing a control slider (2) within which the outer rotor (4) of a rotor set is supported, the inner rotor (6) mounted on a rotary drive shaft (5) and an odd number of at least 5 pendulation spokes (7) coupling the inner and outer rotors. A pair of pressure chambers (20) are provided in the control slider in the vicinity of the bearing for the outer rotor for providing a fluid cushion opposing applied external forces.
