Wood cutting method for use with crane of heavy vehicle, involves gripping wood by shanks of cutting pincer, and adjusting supporting bed between arms of shanks while knives fixed on arms progress in cutting direction

The method involves gripping wood at the circumference by two pincer shanks (1, 1`) of a cutting pincer. The wood is cut along the lengthwise direction by using knives (6, 6`) fixed on arms (4, 4`) of the shanks, where the knives are driven by a hydraulic power cylinder. A supporting bed, on which a mounting plate is fixed, is adjusted between the arms while the knives progress along the cutting direction. An independent claim is also included for a cutting pincer.
