Differential arrangement used in the drive train of a motor vehicle comprises a differential cage, a carrier element held centrally inside the cage, a lateral gear wheel rotating in the cage, and compensating gear wheels
Differential arrangement comprises a differential cage (2), a carrier element (6) held centrally inside the cage and rotating about the axis of rotation (X) together with the cage, a first lateral gear wheel (11) rotating in the cage about the axis of rotation, and two compensating gear wheels (8) arranged axially between the first lateral gear wheel and a second lateral gear wheel (12). Preferred Features: Covering parts (17, 18) each have a supporting surface with a large diameter for supporting the assigned lateral gear wheels. Passages are radially arranged within the large diameter of the assigned supporting surface. The lateral gear wheels are supported on cages parts via stop plates (15, 16).
