A matrix layer has two doped (5,7) and three undoped (4,6,8) zones. Undoped zones are adjacent to an electron-carrying layer (ETL) and a perforated layer (HTL). In-between them there are alternating doped and undoped zones. Matrix material contains an X=Y formula structural unit, where X has a non-binding pair of electrons.
