The wall mounting system (1) consists of a baseplate (2) with spring-loaded clamping members (40-46) to hold the corners of the display (3). The clamping system may hold newspapers, posters or information displays made of paper or cardboard. The baseplate has apertures accommodating split pins on the back of the clamping members. The split ends are shaped to prevent them being pulled out through the apertures and hold the ends of springs pulling the clamping elements toward the baseplate.
