The frame (1) for the lower plane may be square. It has internal members holding an outer ring (2) for a sliding bearing for an assembly with an orthesis. A spring-loaded stop bolt (3) projects through the side of the square into the outer ring. An adjustment screw (4) is fitted in a through bore in the side of the ring.
