The vehicle roof module has roof membrane (12), with an interior bowl (14) connected to it. A roof slab (10) is firmly locked in place and the edge (19) of the roof membrane overlaps the roof. The interior bowl (14) is made formed by injection molding. Towards the center of the interior of the bowl, the edge of the roof membrane projects. An independent claim is included for a method for the production of a vehicle roof module.
