An automotive fuel tank has an air bleed with a supplementary filter to trap organic gaseous particles. The supplementary filter is coupled to a main active carbon granule filter. The supplementary filter has micropores that reach a pore volume of 0.4 cm3 at 42[deg]C. The secondary filter further has a residual mesopore volume of between 0.15 cm3/g and 0.95 cm3/g. The micropore volume is at least 0.7 cm3/g and the mesopore volume is at least 0.25 cm3/g. The maximum mesopore volume is 0.35 cm3/g. The secondary filter has a honeycomb structure and traps n-Butane. The pressure drop across the secondary filter is relatively low. The honeycomb structure is a three-dimensional fiber matrix incorporating fine active carbon granules, anchored by a polyamide binding agent.
