The use of cosmetic and/or dermatological preparations (A) is claimed for improving the oxygen supply to hair follicles, where (A) contains oxygen carrier(s) (I) selected from phytohemoglobins (PHG's) and/or synthetic perfluorocarbon compounds (PFC's), emulsified and stabilized with lecithin and other lipids.
