Window of a vehicle has control unit connected to GPS receiver to open and close window automatically dependent on number of receivable GPS satellites

The control unit (1) for opening and closing the window is connected to a GPS receiver (2) and opens and closes the window dependent on the number of receivable GPS satellites. The control unit is designed so that the window is opened on understepping the said number of receivable satellites below a lower threshold. A memory is provided for storing the window position prior to closing through the control unit and the control opens the window into the memorised position dependent on the number of satellites.
