The equipment (1) to measure any chemical and/or biological weapons material in the atmosphere has a housing (2) with a suction unit (3) to gather an air sample, a concentrator (4) to wash out the toxic component of the air sample, and increase its concentration, a sensor (5) to determine the toxic chemical and/or biological component of the air sample, and an electronic control and evaluation unit (7) to determine the measurement processes, and evaluate the sensor data. The equipment (1) to measure any chemical and/or biological weapons material in the atmosphere has a housing (2) with a suction unit (3) to gather an air sample. A concentrator (4) is linked to the suction unit by a channel (21) to wash out the toxic component of the air sample, and increase its concentration in a buffer solution (23). A sensor (5) is linked to the concentrator to determine the toxic chemical and/or biological component of the air sample. An electronic control and evaluation unit (7) determines the measurement processes, and evaluates the sensor data. The sensor unit has at least one biosensor with a throughput measurement cell. An additional vessel (29) in the housing holds an uncontaminated reference solution and also the analyte solution from the concentrator, to identify immunological surface reactions.
