An inlet compressor for a combustion engine comprises a compressor wheel (2) in an axial channel (5) with combustion air opening and a radial channel (15). An actuator (12) operated by an eccentric cam (26,28) adjusts channel openings through blocking devices (9,14,17) one of which (9) is spring-loaded. An independent claim is also included for an exhaust gas turbocharger comprising a compressor as above.
