The pedestal for a display stand is made from a single cardboard blank which can be assembled to a hollow box shape. It has inner (15, 18) walls which are attached to the tops of outer (2, 3) walls by connecting strips (11 - 14) and fold down inside them to reinforce the box. An independent claim is included for the blank.
