Gear wheel comprises a damping component (7) having individual damping elements (9) arranged between protrusions (3) of an inner wheel (2) and sides (8) of corresponding recesses (4) of an outer wheel (6). Preferred Features: The outer wheel and the inner wheel lie with stopping surfaces in the axial direction. The inner wheel has a hub on which the outer wheel sits. The protrusions of the inner wheel are axially aligned and interlock with the axially aligned recesses of the outer wheel.
