Mud sucking unit has a receiving tank (1.6) to which a mud suction element (3) is connected. An outlet (5) is provided for pumping out the mud-containing liquid. A motor (1.7) produces a suction flow and is does not need to be switched off to empty the tank as a separate disposal pump (6) is provided in the tank to permit its emptying.
