Cyclodextrin derivative (I) with a polysaccharide with at least 4 sugar units or amino sugar units are new. Cyclodextrin derivative (I) with a polysaccharide with at least 4 sugar units or amino sugar units (comprising at least a covalent bonded quaternary nitrogen atom, sugar unit or a amino sugar unit per polysaccharide in the medium and where covalent bonded cyclodextrin residue is formed from a cyclodextrin molecule that is covalently bonded with a hydroxyl group) are new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) the preparation of (I); (2) use of (I) (with active agent binder and/or precipitating agent) in temporary equipment (II) of fibers, where the equipment is non-durable to washing-/cleaning process and removable, and the active agent is an aroma based material; (3) a method of temporary equipment (containing the fiber with active agent binder and/or precipitating agent) comprising contacting the fiber with a composition containing (I) and water; (4) fiber (particularly textile fibers or their related products, or hair) obtained by the method; and (5) a composition, used in the equipment, comprising (I) in a solvent or dispersion medium.
