The device has a lens (28) associated with a receiver with a second main surface (32) divided into N cylindrical lens segments (34) in addition to a first main surface (30) with a total opening D. Receiver optics are used that produce N closely adjacent foci in a second focal plane (20), whereby the location of closest pinching of all individual beams lies in a first focal plane on which a position-resolving receiver is positioned.
