The refuse press can be used in combination with any size of domestic refuse container, and is for manual operation. It consists of a manual lever and a press piston, which is pushed down to compress hollow containers. The lever can be folded down when not in use. When it is pulled up for the next press stage, sleeves drop over joints and stabilize it.
