The device for the guiding of a swing-out sliding door on the body of a vehicle has a telescopic rail in the upper region on the inner side of the sliding door (11), the movable part of which in the front and rear region is rigidly connected to a support component (4). Two differently constructed guide rails (1) are installed on the body (13) above the door opening, whereby a part of the guide rail located in the rear region of the door opening is guided inside the door opening in arc-form and inclined inwards into the interior of the vehicle, while the other part is located on the outside on the outer wall of the vehicle.
