New aza-heterocyclic spiro-cyclopropyl compounds, useful as pesticides, e.g. insecticides, acaricides, nematocides, ectoparasiticides and antifouling agents

Spiro-cyclopropyl substituted 2-(cyanoimino, nitroimino or nitromethylene)-1-aza-cycloalkane derivatives (I) are new. Heterocyclic spiro-cyclopropyl compounds of formula (I) are new. A1, A2direct bond, CH2 or CH2CH2; A3O, S or NR2; R2H or 1-6C alkyl (optionally substituted by CN, halo, OT, ST, SOT or SO2T); or 2-6C alkenyl or 2-6C alkynyl (both optionally substituted by halo); R1H or T; Y1N-CN, N-NO2 or CH-NH2; Y26-10C aryl or heterocyclyl (containing up to 9C, 1-5 N and/or one O or S), both optionally substituted by NO2, CN, halo, T', OT', ST', SOT' or SO2T'; T : 1-4C alkyl; T' : T or 1-4C haloalkyl. Independent claims are included for: (A) the preparation of (I); and (B) new spiro-cyclopropane and cyclopropane derivative intermediates of formulae (II) and (IV).
