The system has a control cable (8) that is controlled by a lever to control a front derailleur (25), and a control cable (9) controlled by another lever to control a rear brake (24). The cables pass through a bent stem gooseneck (2) and pass out at bottom of the gooseneck such that the gooseneck acts as a cable conduit. The cables are then routed into a frame (26) of a bicycle (100) through an opening.
