Each component (1) has a groove (8) open towards a gap (3). Grooves are opposite in the gap and form a sealing surface (10) running crosswise to the gap. The sealing surface has a curved geometrical line following an axis of curvature that lies crosswise to the groove's longitudinal axis and parallel to the sealing surface. A common sealing body (7) made up of a band protrudes into the grooves. An independent claim is also included for a method for sealing a gap between two adjacent components in a dynamical-type compressor/turbine.
