The method for the regulating of a surface-based electric room heating system entails evaluating the individual temperatures of the heating surfaces and the unheated wall surfaces according to their surface portion of the room enclosure and arithmetically averaging it with air temperature. From the difference between operative nominal and actual temperatures a measurement is derived for the change of the heating power for supplying to each heating element. An independent claim is included for an electric room heating system for carrying out the proposed regulating method.
