Back lighting bright field illumination equipment for e.g. stereo microscope, has white organic light emitting diodes arranged on light area, and radiating units provided on light emitting side of functional layer

The equipment has white organic light emitting diodes (1) arranged on a light area whose radiation direction lies in direction of an object which is to be illuminated. Each diode has a transparent substrate that is coated with a transparent electrode on which a functional layer is applied, and a metal electrode placed on the functional layer. Radiating units are provided on a light emitting side of the functional layer. Independent claims are also included the following: (A) a method of transmitting back lighting bright field light (B) a usage of back lighting bright field illumination equipment in stereo microscope and for machine vision use.
