The spraying method for the jet spraying of surfaces with a water-soluble medium entails feeding by a carrier gas the spraying medium to a spray nozzle (14) which has a section (16) converging into a choke point (18) and a diverging section (20) adjoining it. The water is metered into the carrier gas flow. The water is fed at a pressure which is at least 40 per cent of the pressure of the carrier gas. The volume of water supplied is 1 liter per cubic meter of carrier gas.
