In the processing of waste water from the treatment and processing of organic waste (especially manure) in a biogas fermenter (2) by ultrafiltration (UF) (7) and reverse osmosis (RO) (10, 11), the suspended sediment separated during ultrafiltration is recycled to the biogas fermenter.
