Method for generating code that implements a software model of physical interactions, whereby data elements from the software model are implemented in code and whereby a predefined signal flow occurs within the software model. In addition to the data elements, safety elements are implemented at predefined points in the signal flow, through which normal and abnormal behavior of the software can be represented or monitored in that predefined properties of the software model are defined or monitored. An independent claim is made for a device for software code generation.
