Method for controlling data communication between a first processor and a second processor coupled to it whereby: the first processor generates a signal indicating receiving capacity, i.e. either active or deactivated; the second processor can be switched between active and sleep states and; whereby the second processor detects if the first process has switched between a deactivated signal level an activated signal level while it is still in a sleep state, and if such a change has occurred changes over to a wake state. An independent claim is made for a twin processor arrangement, e.g. a mobile phone with two processors.
