The multiple light assembly acts as a headlamp cum sidelight. It is mounted in the front of a road vehicle and can direct beams of light to the sides. It has several lamps (1), e.g. incandescent electric light bulbs, on individual mountings (3), each in its own individual reflector (2). The lamps are set side-by-side, at gradually increasing angles to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The first lamp (Segment BASIS), shines along the longitudinal axis of the vehicle when it is driving straight ahead, and the other lamps (Segment SEITE), are energized when the steering wheel is turned or may be automatically turned on by a GPS system.
