The method for thermal insulation of hollow spaces in walls, ceilings or floors involves positioning of a heat insulating element and subsequent gap filling with a heat insulating foam. Independent claims are also included for: (a) a heat insulating element for implementation of the proposed method; (b) an application of such a heat insulating element to rolling shutter boxes.
