The method involves controlling a gain amplifier (430) with two control values, and determining two gain values corresponding to a digital to analog converter (DAC) (420) and the gain amplifier. A calibration control value is determined based on the gain values and the control values. The gain amplifier is controlled with the calibration control value to compensate the gain mismatch between the two DAC`s. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus comprising a gain amplifier for compensating a gain mismatch between two digital to analog converters.
