The card has a NAND flash memory, where another memory uses an interface mode different from an interface mode. A controller (100) converts the interface mode to another interface mode, where the controller receives an address and a command from the host (1), and converts the address and the command to be used in another memory, where the converted address and the converted command are provided to another memory. An independent claim is also included for a method of operating a memory card including a NAND flash memory card being connected to a host using an interface mode.
