The cylinder has a machine frame to support a basket (12) with component sensors (56, 58). The sensors detect dislocation of the basket and a carriage or the framework caused by the forces at fastening parts of the basket, carriage and framework to detect a trace error force between bake cylinders. The force is detected in a direction perpendicular to a stroke direction of the carriage and parallel to the surface of the bake cylinders.
