The sensor elements are arranged at a front surface of a substrate, to contact with material of the substrate. Several barriers are arranged in the material of substrate to reduce coupling of a form of energy between any of the sensor elements and act as an obstacle for the prorogation of form of the energy. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) method of manufacturing sensor; and (2) ultrasonic transducer device.
